The presentation of the exhibition was attended by about a hundred citizens and representatives of the mass media, who had the opportunity not only to view the exhibition, but also to freely communicate with the organizers of the event, to attend the viewing of educational videos of the Archive "How to find information about a repressed relative".
The director of the Archive of National Remembrance Ihor Kulyk presented the exhibition and watched the videos. At the opening, hosted by the director of the museum, Iryna Sobko, Roman Karmannik, deputy head of the Cherkasy Regional State Administration, and Roman Sushchenko, one of the "prisoners of the Kremlin", and now the first deputy head of the Cherkasy Regional Council, gave a welcome speech.
"The exhibition will be open in the local history museum until the beginning of August. After that, we plan to move it to another regional center. For now, we think it will be Chernihiv or Poltava. Our task is to take it around all regional centers. We will focus on the eastern part of Ukraine, which was the most affected under russian and soviet propaganda. We want people to see it and think about the fact that communism is equal to rashism," Ihor Kulyk said.
In the near future, we will inform you in which cities new presentations will be held. Follow the announcements!
