Terror and repression are two words that characterize our relations with our "neighbors" for several centuries in a row.

Repressions for expressing national consciousness, repressions for desire for political and social freedoms and always for striving to be simply Ukrainians, to speak our native language.
It was during the time of the Russian Empire. During the time of the USSR, which was the same empire, decorated with the flair of communist ideas of equality and brotherhood. There are even now, during the existence of the Russian Federation with its aggressive imperial policy, well seasoned with lies of various kinds.
Terror also had many manifestations: physical impact through torture, moral humiliation and harassment, which ended with imprisonment in prisons, concentration camps and numerous gulags during the great Stalinist terror. Torture by hunger became the worst form of terror, which is beyond the plane of humanity and morality. Hunger is the greatest fear for Ukrainians who have been engaged in farming since their great-grandfathers. Only in the XX century. We already have at least three such episodes: the famines of 1921-1923 and 1946-1947 and the Holodomor of 1932-1933. Millions of lost lives and always the same beginning of the story - export of grain from Ukraine, silencing of the problem and cynical lies.
The same thing is happening today. From the occupied southern regions of Ukraine, the Russians export grain from Ukrainian granaries and try to illegally sell it in Syria and Turkey. Ukrainian grain export sea routes are blocked. In the first decade of June, they began to export grain from the territory of the Zaporizhzhia region.
Recently, the information channel "24 News" reported that the farmers of the Kherson region were completely excluded from the process of selling the grown grain. There is only the possibility of selling it, as well as vegetables and fruits in Crimea at very low prices. Most entrepreneurs were forced to agree under the pressure of circumstances, sometimes due to the threat of execution. Simferopol has become a logistics hub for stolen agricultural products, which Russian traffickers are trying to pass off as produced in Russia.
The historical parallels are obvious. But today, due to the termination of Ukrainian grain exports, Russia has applied the terror of hunger to a number of countries in Africa and the Middle East.
