The SA UINR became the member of the international conference
In the Latvian Museum of Occupation on the 20th of October held an international conference «Language and power»
About the policy of russification in Ukraine, about what the russian language has to do with the current russian-Ukrainian war, about the methods of language policy in Estonia and the paradoxes of translation in Soviet Lithuania, the participants of the event were introduced by the director of the Archive of National Remembrance Ihor Kulyk.
The event was dedicated to the State Language Day.
The SA UINR thanks Latvian friends and colleagues for cooperation. We hope for further interesting projects.
